Autumn 2019 Transfers

I have a few questions regarding transfers for the upcoming fall term:

  1. Financial Aid: When can I expect to receive my financial aid award? My FASFA was received by OSU on November 27th, I completed my Special Scholarships Application back in October, and am currently applying to outside scholarships. I read online that transfers appear not to receive as much scholarship or grant money that a freshman would. Is there anyone who transferred that received the aid they needed or has a full ride? My EFC is 0 and I am an in-state student. I am unable to use parent PLUS loans.
  2. Housing: I received a letter in the mail that stated that 2017 graduates (which I am) will be required to live on campus, but housing is not guaranteed. Is it more likely that I will have to live off campus?
  3. Is there any advice anyone would like to give to new students?

As for the award summary (question 1), I received a letter in the mail informing me that all award summaries for students enrolled for the autumn semester whos information were received by OSU before February 1st will have an award summary posted by late February. But on the same day, I received an email saying they will be awarding students late May. Not sure which date is correct.
