Availability of scholarships???

Are there any scholarships available for non- resident US citizens?
I have not come across any such scholarship till date. Have u?
Most scholarships are for either international students or resident US citizens as far as I have seen.

Do you mean US Citizen who live abroad?

I was a non resident US citizen in my day when applying to colleges and scholarhships. I saw few exclusions for my status. The ONLY ones were those that were attached to a state or other locale, and really only those who lived in there were not so excluded, so it was no big deal. Look on Fastweb. Be aware, however, that it is not easy, in fact very difficult to get much in outside scholarships. Like buying lottery tickets for the big ones. Most kids know who get those awards are involved, or have parental involvement or the highschool is involved with the scholarship sponsor. Like if you work at MCD’s part time, they may have a part time high school award. A community might have awards, if parent is a veteran, there are awards. But I don’t know any that specifically exclude non resident citizens.

Most of the larger awards come from the colleges themselves. You research colleges and see which ones have a nice amount for which you are a candidate.
