I was told Rutgers’ audition was only an hour long, but the event I’m trying to register for is from 9-5. Can someone clarify this?

2 of the schools that my D is auditioning for require an audition fee paid to the school at least two weeks prior to auditioning. I can’t seem to find any other school that is going to require a fee. Am I going to be surprised at Unifieds with unexpected fees? If so, will they take checks or do I need to bring a truckload of cash?

bisouu, so far the schools to which my daughter applied have been very clear on audition fees. You had to pay them when you scheduled the audition online. I would think that if you’ve scheduled auditions and didn’t have to pay a fee, you shouldn’t expect one at Unifieds. Should you happen to find one (or two) that wasn’t so clear, they should accept a check.

Thanks. Hartt and Montclair want checks sent in the mail for the audition. No one else seems to charge a fee.

Lucky you!! I definitely gave audition fees to more than two schools… ugh.

Purchase will be the other one if we ever get the chance to schedule :)

Anyone else having a bit of trouble with Montclair? We scheduled our audition a month ago and today we received an email saying to schedule our audition. hmmm

Montclair is all cleared up. They just sent an email with an audition time. Very helpful and friendly. :)

Yeah, Montclair did the same to us.

I just checked SUNY Purchase’s website as we are now mid-way through November. The audition registration is still not ready. :-(

SUNY Purchase audition sign-up now is live

The SUNY registration is asking for a username and password. Anyone know what to use? The ones I have for her app and for mypurchase are not working.

Enter audition registration through this page and click on application instructions and then a window for registration should open:

[Purchase College - Admissions - Application Instructions](<a href=“Search results for • Purchase College”>Search results for • Purchase College)

I am really confused. We have already applied to the university. This application process is for what? The audition? It won’t let me do anything but create a profile. :(

Auditions for Purchase are 9-5???!!!

No bisouu, I don’t think so—unless they’ve changed something, you just have to be available in case you get a callback. Callbacks are that same day.

Bisouu after you do the profile re click on the registration link and it should go to new page. And I don’t know about the time either. I just picked a day we have the least appts. on and I hope we get an actual time slot later. There was no other option.

Thanks, everyone! S at a CommServ event, then called for opening night. Got him signed up for Purchase Audition (with your help…it certainly wasn’t intuitive)…thanks bisouu! The date we needed was smack-dab in the middle of a bunch of dates, so it was crucial we be able to make it work. It worked. Love you all.

I believe Purchase schedules auditions similarly to Rutgers. That is, you sign up for a day and are later assigned a specific time. My understanding is the Purchase audition takes less than an hour. It shouldn’t be a problem working it into your schedule.

Do you know if Purchase will allow you to ask for morning or afternoon. My D has her Fordham audition at 9:00 am that day…
