Average ACT at Your School

At our small rural/suburban high school in Upstate NY the average has ranged from 23 to 25 over the past four years. The sample size is small as usually only students in the top third of the class take the ACT (45-50 students). I have known a few students to score a 32 or 33 on the ACT but have never heard of anyone getting a 36.

Mind telling what school is that?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Paul’s_School_(Concord,_New_Hampshire)

Dude, that is so awesome. Too lucky.
How much do you pay?

my school’s average ACT is a 28.7, and it’s not a private

My school’s average is a 33 or 34.
Hoping to see a 35 or 36 next week! :)

22.4, highest public school score in the area, largest too, and defiantly not the most wealthy either. only a handful past 32

The past 3 years my school has had a person with a 36. I know of atleast 3 other people who had 34’s and 15+ with atleast a 30. But our average is like 22, class size of 797.

18.6 I think

however there’s one school I hopefully will get to attend whose average is like a 31.4 so things might improve.

My old school was 19-20

Son’s school is 31 ACT and 2070 SAT

Small rural public HS: Average composite is 23.7; state average composite is 20.6.

I am estimating here, but I would guess the average composite a our small, rural, public school would be close to 21.

Just above a 30.

6 36’s in a class of 200 so far…

It’s 30 right now… only two of us have taken it (we both made 30’s).
I retook it this month, and another guy took it for the first time… so I’ll just ask him what he made, and then I can calculate our school’s new average. lol

This will change in a year or so, though, because my state’s going to require everyone to take the ACT.

^ Lol… North Carolina?

everyone at my school takes the ACT. the average is a 27.

^ Same. All juniors are required to take the April ACT in my state.

Large public school in KS (about 400 kids/grade) last year we had five 36’s and the average was 25.7. Incredible year for us. Even the starting varsity quarterback got a 34

my school has double digit perfects

and prolly 100 33+
