Average ACT at Your School

But does everyone taking the ACT choose the ‘report score to their school’ option?I believe we can opt NOT to send scores to schools too,if I’m not mistaken.

19…

10char

Our average is a 28. The average for the Class of 2010 was 28.4, which is the highest it’s ever been.

25 but about 8 36s and a good amount of 34s (I’m happy to say I contributed!)

How do you find these averages?

and dang rockettrick, what kind of school do you go to?

My goodness, some of you must go to some amazing schools!
I have no idea what our average ACT is, especially considering no one at my school really takes the ACT, but judging from SAT scores, I’m assuming it’d be somewhere around 23 or 24.
There are quite a few intelligent kids here, but since it’s a large public school, we have some kids that aren’t quite up to par with private school kids.

You guy must have schools that put good stuff in the food and water, lol. My senior (formerly magnet HS) class isn’t too shabby considering we are a public school. Two 30’s, one 27, one 26, one 24, (I’m hoping 32 and up) and I guess everyone else is around average.

My school has a 30.1 ACT average with a class of 239 in my senior class. I have a 35.

Go to a public high school in southern california… our school’s average ACT is a 25

Well, it’s like 25.5. One girl had a 19 and i had a 32. So you do the math.

I go to a school where its mandatory that EVERYONE takes the ACT. What happens is that you have the kids…who aren’t “college bound” taking the test, and lowering our average. I think the school, district, and state average is around a 20-21 for this reason. The state is Wyoming if you want to look it up.

Meanwhile, I didn’t study and got a 33. Epic win? I took it again in October and I think I might have gotten a 34 or so.

wow… 29 is my school’s average.

19.x average. Very small, rural school where I’m the only person above a 30. I can’t imagine these schools with averages nearing 30.

Psh, maybe like an 18-19. I know at my school if you get a 26 you get your cap and gown free.

21 Average. Public school with a Senior class of 1025. Probably 300 of us got higher than 25, the rest are all failures.

I don’t know my school’s, but for my city it’s 24.2. I know a few people who have received perfects at my school this year.

1200 student school here. Our average is 19.x but since we are in Michigan, ALL of the students MUST take the ACT.

The students at my school typically get 3s, maybe 4s on a good day.

17… Border HS :)

35, and i dont know mine yet. lets hope its a 36 so it drags up our average to 35.5!
