<p>At my school, it's a 22.0 Composite ACT</p>
<p>I wish I could say my school was impressive. . . We have only sent like, one student to an Ivy. Most everyone at my school ends up at one of the state schools. Sigh. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get out of here. In terms of SAT and SATIIs at my school, we don't really have stats on it because nobody takes it. People were surprised to hear I took the SAT, along with the ACT, and three subject tests. Most had never heard of them, especially the latter.</p>
<p>But yeah, sorry for my mini-rant! I am just curious about the averages at other schools.</p>
<p>I think that in my school, its pretty high because we are very fortunate to have great teachers/facilities. I dont know, but its probably 1800ish for SAT? I remember reading in the newspaper that it was one of the highest in the state (although I forgot exact number). Maybe its not that high compared to schools in other states…</p>

<p>I’ve heard of five people at my school (me included, yay) that have ever gotten out of the 1500s on the SAT (on the 2400 scale). Of course, obviously I haven’t talked to everyone at my school, but I’d guess that only 7% or so of the people that go to my school even take the SAT… And in the last 4 years, I think only one person has taken the ACT. Don’t know how she did on it, though. As a side note, only 1 person at my school has ever taken an AP exam.</p>

<p>I wish my school published scores. But so far:
-2 people with 35 ACT
-1 person with 34
-2 people with 33
-3 people with 31
-many with 25-29.</p>
<p>The average SAT score was 2076 at my school, while average ACT was 30.0 (about 320 students in the graduating class, some took both, almost all took the SATs), but it’s also a private school. It’s also not the highest average in the private schools - I do know that for a fact.</p>
<p>our average act score is a … 21.7? but we have four (currently enrolled) kids who’ve gotten perfect scores. yeah there is sort of a giant discrepancy here :|</p>
<p>Probably around 21-25. That’s a bit misleading because not that many people actually end up taking it. I’ve heard a few people get 16s and 17s here and 1 person got a 36 last year (30+ here are unheard of).</p>

<p>Not only that, our highest ACT was a 29? I think, wasn’t scored by any of the top students lol. Average score for the top 4% for both SAT and ACT are 1780 and 26 respectively.</p>

<p>Private school would have been a better path for me, but since I’m a poor ■■■■, that was out of the question :)</p>

<p>I don’t wish to go to private school (in fact, that’s not even an option – there’s not one that isn’t Catholic for hundreds and hundreds of miles), I just wish sometimes that I was actually learning in the school I’m at. There’s only one high school in the town, so moving schools isn’t an option, and I’ve heard (and witnessed for myself) that the school districts of both of the nearby bigger cities are run down and underfunded, and that test scores and grades in general are dismal… I guess that’s what happens when your entire region is run by roustabouts-turned-politicians…</p>
<p>Ours is 1427 and 24.2</p>
<p>The thing about schools in Georgia is that it is required to take the SAT, so that’s probably where the low scores average in.</p>
