Average ACT is a 22.8, everyone has to take it.

My private, catholic schools average is a 19. It’s not required. There’s just a ridiculous number of really stupid people. I’m mostly separated from the idiots in my safe, warm AP and honors classes though.

21.6, few care. Mostly rednecks.

How do you guys even find out the averages???

how do u find out averages

I live in the most redneck part of Florida and a lot of them just drive their trucks and drink whiskey + moonshine haha

There is a difference between living in the south & being a redneck

The average at my school is 30.5

18…

Anything over a 25 is a respectable score… Remember that the average is only a 20.5.
Where the hell do you guys go to school that a 30 is the average score?

^well the average is 21, so it’s a score, but i wouldn’t really call it respectable. Granted, it is better than a 15 or 16, but still…it’s below average.

or are you joking? i can’t tell.

my school is crazy.
this year we had double digit perfects (more than 10 kids with 36s)
we probably have 50+ kids getting 34/35
almost a hundred to say the least getting over a 30

my school is a 28

At my D’s HS the average is around 26.5. This is a public high school in Illinois, and every junior is required to take the ACT as part of our state testing. There are always a couple 36’s and quite a few students score over 32.
