Please note that these are second-semester juniors testing AND we had an eight hour long ACT workshop the day before.

When colleges look at your scores do they compare them to your district's? Mine are by no means great, but they're a little better.

English: 28 (but I've been reviewing and getting 34's and 35's on practices).
Math: 23 (Shut up, I studied my a-word off...and there are people in AP Calc with 15's).
Reading: 25
Science: 26

I’m taking it September 10th and trying to get a 28 because our district recognizes them. Last year there were five. Three of them were from the other school.

Average at my school is a 23.0. It’s a small rural high school with ~120-150 students per class. However, the average doesn’t exactly tell the whole story. The students below the top 30-40 average about a 19-20, while those who are at the top average anywhere from a 29-35. So it is varied. I got a 30 past year as a sophomore, so hopefully my fellow classmates & I can bring the average up!

Don’t know the average score, but I only know of 25 or so of us that have taken it and we all scored above a 28 (With 2 35s, and 2 36s). I do live in Georgia, which is a predominantly SAT state. Therefore, only the top students really take the ACT (At least from my school…).
