Average financial aid for GWU

I come from an upper-middle class suburban family with a combined income of around 130-150k a yr.
However, there are four kids in my family, all who plan on attending elite private schools. Also, my brother and I are hoping to attend law school.

My question is, how much financial aid does GWU give to middle class families? My family is not exactly poor, but with four kids all planning on going to colleges that cost upwards of 40k a yr, money is kind of tight for college.

Does GWU reserve most $ for the most needy kids, or will they give out a couple of thousand or more for even middle class kids?

I know about their 1 sibling 1/2 off program, but my siblings might not attend GWU, so anything else in regards to financial aid?

Thanks

i also come from a middle class familt, my parents make about $100,000 a year. and my sister is going to college one year after me. in my opinion, they were pretty generous with fin aid. i got $20,000 in scholarships and another $5,000 in loans and work study.

I'm in a similar situation as you, GinaEC, with my sister a few years away from college, except I applied as a transfer student. Does anyone know what kind of aid GW gives to transfers? On one hand GW is known to be pretty good with aid but on the other hand transfers usually don't get much at any school so I dunno...

Well, I'm from a "middle class white area" but my situation is a little different, so they're giving me 3k in loans and 46k in scholarships and such, so now i just have to come up with 4k on my own.

It's not about the "area" you come from. It's about the financial situation you have.

I'm in the same situation, basically, HomerSimpson, and ended up getting no financial aid
