Average URM SAT scores in IVY?

According to collegeboard: <a href="http://www.collegeboard.com/prod_downloads/highered/ra/sat/CR_M_%20W_PercentileRanksGenderEthnicGroups.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.collegeboard.com/prod_downloads/highered/ra/sat/CR_M_%20W_PercentileRanksGenderEthnicGroups.pdf</a></p>

A 1950 puts you in the 98% percentile as a black applicant.
What would be the average range for AA's admitted to ivy league?

I realize this question is flawed but please just estimate.
Thanks

Most schools don’t offer their SAT admissions statistics for each individual demographic (for obvious reasons including trying not to incite heated affirmative action arguments) and regardless of the statistics there are lots of factors that affect your chances of getting into Ivy league schools. I’d probably suggest looking through the college results threads (and there’s one on this page specifically for African American decisions which would probably be more helpful for you).

Bumpity bump

Makes me feel good about myself.

There are no statistics on the specific matter.

But HYPetc doesn’t have to lower its standards very much at all to get enough black students.

Not very much. I would say not at all. If standards are being lowered for a particular race, that is wrong and it gives credence to those that complain. These schools have admitted anyone they want to admit since the beginning. Period. Its not about earning a rightful spot. Its about working hard and impressing them enough to be selected.

But my estimate is somewhere around 2100…
