average yrs to graduate?

Hi,
How many years on average does it take to graduate from college of arts n sciences (minimum yrs as well)?

4 on average, 3 minimum?

dont you have to take at least 100 credits in CAS?! in order to graduate?

yeah but you can have a lot of AP credits (30+) and take more than 15 credits/semester, making it so that you could, technically, graduate in 3 or less years. not all colleges are as “strict” as CAS when it comes to AP credit.

100 credits divided into 8 semesters is only an average of 12.5 credits a semester.

That’s barely over the limit of being considered a full time student.

I’m pretty sure you need 120 credits to graduate. Its just that 100 of those credits must be taken within the college of arts and sciences…

^ Correct.

That still doesn’t make it difficult at all to graduate in 4 years.

Taking 15 credits/semester in CAS will get you out in 4 years, assuming your pass all your classes. That being said, if you have any AP credit it helps.
I had 4 credits going in, and if I take 17 credits for 5 semesters and 16 credits for 2, I can be out in 3.5 years. And taking a few credits over the normal 15 isn’t bad at all.
