<p>yeah I’d say College is 3.35, seas is 3.1, overall will be something like 3.3. Seas students take several college courses which grade well, and then most seas courses curve to a B, some curve to a B- and some to a B+, but on average seas courses curve to a 3.0 and College courses curve to a 3.3-3.4.</p>
<p>concoll, when i was in the college the avg. was closer to a 3.4-3.5. i gather that because 40% of folks were above a 3.6.</p>

<p>probably not a perfect bell curve, there is less room to be an outlier above 3.6 and much more room below it, so you have a fatter tail on the lower end. The median gpa is probably 3.4-3.5, but the mean would be more like 3.3-3.4.</p>
<p>I’ve heard 3.1-3.2. No way it’s anywhere near 2.7.</p>
