1760, hollaaa. haha. basically, we have a lot of big under-achievers & a lot of big over-achievers. not too many in-between : P

Wow… my school’s average SAT score is 1310. That includes all three, btw, not just math and CR. I’m 1070 points above average! I agree with above posters, though… the main factor in a school/state’s average score is definitely participation rate. Maine requires the SAT for all juniors… hence the low scores for the state and my school.

My high school’s average is 1210/1830. I’m really curious to see what our school’s ACT average is, because I only sent my ACT score to colleges.

That’s a really good average.

My school’s average for last year’s class was 1866. My school’s a public exam school though.

2007: Average sat for my school was 1436/2156
yes, very discouraging. and it is very good at english so my 770 in CR was like, not even 90th percentile. And 790 in math isnt 95+percentile
(Hunter College High School! woot!)

Haha my school’s average is 1490/2400 :/

no public schools have averages of 2400. Only schools in US with 2200-2400 Average sats = private schools.

My mistake. I was attempting to show that the 1490 was on the 2400 point scale as opposed to the 1600 point scale, and in no way intended to say that 2400 was within my school’s average :P
