<p>You guys need to chill. Start worrying if you haven’t gotten it by April.</p>
<p>I submitted my app to bothel campus last night and today it’s already been reviewing…whereas my app for seattle campus was submitted on Dec 1st and still hasn’t gotten an intinial review. Even though I know seattle campus might receive a lot more apps than others…this is just not making me feel okay.</p>
<p>Does anyone know if the review process has to do with your last name by any chance?</p>
<p>I don’t think so. I was told that each application undergoes a quick review by two people. For you to go on the next round, both have to agree that you’re qualified for the school. If they come across someone with an outstanding application/stats, it goes on a different pile and gets reviewed right away. But this is only a small percentage of people who gets accepted. After that, they wait until they’ve reviewed everyone and choose who to accept and deny.</p>
<p>Thanks Ross, do you know if that “quick review” by 2 people counts as the initial review? In other words, if your status still remains in “awaiting an initial review”, does that mean no one has looked at your app yet (not even those 2 people who do the quick review) or is it possible that they have looked at it but it just didn’t go on the pile that gets a more comprehensive reviewed right away?</p>
<p>It took more than a month for the initial status to change but in the last couple of days it changed twice and now they say that they have reviewed the application and I can see unofficial transcript.</p>
<p>I think if it says that your application is complete, then it already went through that initial review…if one says yes and another says no, they bring in a third person. If they both say no, you’re screwed. You guys have nothing to worry about. Just calm down until March rolls around.</p>

<p>I still got this Awaiting initial Review just today. When will they change it back? I want to know if everything is complete. It’s killing me.</p>
