In the UC app and common app there is an awards/honor section. I don’t have much besides AP scholar with distinction which isn’t really much because that’s like a given award. Can I put scholarships as an award? Like if I make it to quest bridge finalist, can that go in that section? Can I also put in like if I won a scholarship for writing an essay?
Yes – scholarships can be added to the Award section. If you have multiples and need to conserve space, use a single line.
@T26E4 Also, could being nominated as a Boy State delegate be one? There can only be 1 per school to represent and we had to interview for it and I got it but then I ended up not being able to actually attend the 1 week program but I was nominated and qualified for it. Or does this mean nothing since I didn’t actually go?
