Awards in between 8th and 9th grade

<p>Would an award won in the summer between 8th and 9th grade be considered an award won in the 9th grade?</p>

<p>I wouldn't use an award that old on a college app unless it was something really big.</p>

<p>OMG! I did NHD too at the SAME time! (I got into final judging at nationals that year.) I am not really sure either, but I know I can still count the NHD projects I did during high school that made it to the D.C. contest.</p>
