<p>Are there any high school awards I could apply for?
I want to see if I can get noticed in my state (NJ) for academic achievement, or something, and I'm just curious if there are applications that I should go through?
If not, how do student's receive awards normally?</p>
<p>Well, there’s the PSAT, science/math competitions, school academic awards and that’s all i can think of for now…</p>
<p>Don’t win awards just for the sake of showing to colleges…but if you really must know, pretty much what LAXer25 said and then there’s also like speech and debate, essay contests, and summer programs.</p>
