Awkward Question about Overnight Visits

If you get rejected or deferred EA, can you still request an overnight visit?

sure! At that point you are just a normal RD applicant.

I mean, what if you are rejected by EA or rejected by RD?

From the "Overnight Program" section of the "Visiting MIT" portion of the Admissions website:
[quote]
From October through February, any high school junior or senior may arrange an overnight visit. However, overnights in March and April are only for students who have been admitted. We encourage all admitted students to visit during our annual Campus Preview Weekend in the spring. Overnight visits are not available from May through September.

If you want an overnight visit through the end of February, you may request one, just like any junior or senior: they apparently won't ask if you've been rejected EA. ;) If you are admitted, you may request an overnight in March or April. And there are no overnights starting in May until after the next school year starts.

Hence, if one is rejected EA, one could still technically arrange an overnight visit. If one is rejected RD, it would be too late for an overnight.

Thanks for your clarification.
