i applied to the scholarship this year and i was just wondering if anyone had heard any news about moving on as a finalist? i know that results are supposed to come out in early Jan and when I looked on my portal there wasn’t any update about it but there were some new things that popped up (recommender contributions + supporting documents backpack) what does this mean?

I just checked my portal, and I have the same recommender and supporting doc links as well. Not sure what it means though.
My application portal now says I need a third party recommendation… did anyone send one before application filed? Mine also popped up recommender contributions + supporting documents backpack
I have the recommender contributions and the supporting documents backpack but it does not say anything about a third party recommendation.
In order to see the third party recommendation you have to click on your application. 
has anyone contacted axa regarding them? im assuming no one got an email notification regarding finalist status right?

I think so since the past has been Jan. 8th
wait i realized a couple hours ago that I didnt give them my recommendation stuff, but i just finished it. Do yall think im still screwed

When it says Finalist does it mean we are guaranteed the 2,500 and are now competing for the 10k and 25k. Or does being a finalist just mean that you have been qualified for the next round
Not all finalist are winners. After you submit your transcript and recommendation letter they will narrow it down and the winners will be notified late March.
