I'll keep it short

GPA: terrible
81-83, 2.9-3.0

SAT: 2210
SAT II: 780 Math II, 760 Chem

Extracirriculars: Filled Common app and then some, but most of them are employment/volunteer

Essays: really good if i dont say so myself
I also wrote a little something something (750 words) in the additional information section that (could potentially sway the adcoms one way or the other)

att least, i think so
i could be dead wrong tho

P.S. I go to the (imo) best public high school in NYC
and its ranked top 25th nationally, so that never hurts, does it?

I don’t understand. If you have a B- average in a public high school, do you really expect to have a B+ to A average at Georgetown? Most kids generally have a much lower college GPA than their high school one, and Georgetown wants kids who can pass their classes.

Yeah, that GPA is pretty terrible by GU standards. In most cases, I would think it would disqualify you.
Two questions:
1- Is there a good reason why it’s so low, and if so, have you explained it?
2- What is the breakdown on the 2210 SAT?

yea i wrote a 800 word letter explaining
eloquent and extensive

that i put into the additional info

CR M W

690-770-750

But…what was your explanation?
