<p>Just a random question. If I am Asian and plan to major in English, does that limit or raise my chances as opposed to the sciences and maths? Or does it mean nothing?</p>
<p>if you can back up that you really have more than a passing interest in English, then it would set you apart from the science- and math-oriented kids.</p>
