B.A. or B.S.??

Right now I am undeclared in major but I was thinking about declaring economics; however I’m not sure whether to choose the BA or BS program. I really liked the ap economics courses so I wanted to know if those were geared more towards a BA or BS or if it doesn’t really matter. Thanks!

Note that you will be following GenEd not CORE checklist of requirements (further down the page). CORE was the general university graduation requirements prior to 2012. All students starting Fall 2012 and later follow Gen Ed requirements.

A BA will have more electives and a foreign language requirement (which you can meet with a placement test or just one class depending on how far you went in high school), which frees you to take whatever you want for electives - more advanced economics, more math, a minor…
A BS will have more required classes, so fewer choices, but if you like rhe list of required classes you’re all set.
