<p>In high school in 9th grade I am going to take Algebra 2. But not sure I will go for Honors or regular Algebra 2. Reason is that I found Geometry in 8th grade bit difficult so I am afraid that if I go for Honors and what if I get "B". Any suggestion please</p>
<p>IME many people who have trouble with geometry tend to do well in algebra 2. And a B isn’t the end of the world, don’t let CC get your grade views get all warped! If it turns out Alg 2 isn’t the class for you, you could always talk to your guidance counselor and try to move down a class. Or you could stay after with your teacher and get extra help from them.</p>
<p>If you are smart enough to be in geometry in 8th grade, then I don’t imagine Algebra II Honors will be much of a problem for you! </p>
<p>Personally, I found geometry to be the hardest of all classes relative to the time I took the course because of all the proofs! Algebra II is pretty much just an extension of Algebra I, and if you did well in that, I don’t imagine it being much tougher!</p>
