Hey guys first time poster sorry for any errors I might make in formatting.
I’m currently a high school student who’s interested in going into business. (I recently made the switch last moment, so my background is in the sciences.) I want to pursue an MBA possibly in marketing eventually. On the advice of quite a few individuals I’m making the decision of choosing Econ, specifically a BA for my degree, instead of a business degree (largely because I probably won’t make the cut.) Two questions, is Econ very math intensive? I’m a solid B student in math and I’m ready to start pursuing it more, but I’m confused in how much math is really involved? Is it true the amount of math is dependent on the courses you take? Secondly, is a BA in Econ a degree that can get me into a decent job and eventually an MBA, or are there better alternatives?
Any response would be greatly appreciated.
