BA in Musical Theatre degree at IUP?

<p>A friend of mine recently told me about a new BA in Musical Theatre degree at IUP starting next fall. I knew they had one called Interdisciplinary Fine Arts with a Musical Theater track or something. Has had anyone else heard this?</p>

<p>I saw this on the IUP website. Apparently the University Senate voted to replace the Interdisciplinary program with the BA in musical theater. The last hurdle to clear for this program is approval by the State System Board of Governors.</p>

Its been over a year. Any news on the status of the approval by the State System Board of Governors? I’ve been accepted by IUP and want to go to school for musical theatre - so I’d like to know about the status of the program. (I have my audition scheduled for February 2016).

@TheGlassIsBeauty I would love to know how your audition goes and what you think. My D has this school on her list for MT and she is a junior now.
