hello, i was wondering if i would still stand a chance of being accepted into some of the bs/md and ba/md programs (UMKC, Penn State, George Washington University) with 50 hours of hospital volunteering. i've noticed that many other people have hundreds of hours, while i only have 50... my GPA and test scores are good though.
thank you!

bumppp!!!

I suppose their question with you then would be: what has this applicant done to validate that a medical career suits him/her?

i’ve been to stuff like science camps and cardiology conferences, and i’ve shadowed a little…

bump pleasee! even if i don’t have THAT many hospital volunteer hours, but i have some other stuff like a little shadowing and attendance to some medical conferences, do i still have a fair shot? my GPA and ACT score are pretty good! thanks!
