<p>A lot of multiracial kids are pretty though. My best friend is Eurasian and she’s absolutely gorgeous. </p>
<p>But it’s one thing to think that way, and another thing to pursue a different race to get a “beautiful” kid. Not saying that mojenie was saying that, because I think she was just commenting.</p>

<p>Alas, I, like fairy_dreams, kid. Partially. The thing about kids is that they annoy the heck out of me, poop, pee, emit other disgusting material, most of which is half-brown/green, need diaper changes, are expensive, whine, complain (as I am doing), have frightening anger management problems, lack self-control, are quite dumb in comparison (many, of course, remain that way for life), have to be born messily/in an undignified way, and ultimately, add on to our population crisis.</p>
<p>I think, though, that I might mature slightly and compromise by adopting someone else’s kid. I can always make it smart. :)</p>
<p>Children lol. Not sure if I could handle them. Besides, my kids would hate me when I make them do Calculus at 9. Maybe if I had support my an Asian spouse(Black guy interested in Asian, it sucks for me).</p>

<p>My sister is autistic/ten years younger than me… so I’ve basically already raised a kid who has special needs… and I’m sixteen.</p>
<p>I think that’s why I want kids. I’ve already raised one… so it doesn’t scare me so much. I mean… obviously my parents were the main people behind my sister… but I take care of her all of the time. It’s a pretty joint-thing… but it kind of has to be with a seven year old autistic child.</p>
<p>I have no desire to have children which I guess is because I have 7 nieces and nephews. Besides I am not the mothering type.</p>

<p>I’m not quite sure yet about marriage or children. I’m extremely independent and, as per my username, want to work for the FBI and could easily see myself being more career than family focused. I’m also not sure if I want to bring kids up in that environment. If I do have kids, I would definitely prefer boys.</p>
<p>I keep saying no. And never. But who knows, honestly. 
I’d have to wait a while given that I’d like to begin my career (medical doctor) before beginning a family but…who are we kidding? Life doesn’t plan for us. I’m also not sure if I’d even like to get married at this point. The whole hooplah over wedding dresses puts me off…I dislike that idea as a whole. I’ve been planning to, if I were to get married, hold the entire event as a charity ball and do something positive whilst celebrating my own personal milestone. I’m not overtly charitable or “holier than thou”, but the whole thing seems unnecessarily expensive and egocentric.</p>
<p>I want to, but I’m considering moneyless living for a while after college, so I don’t know how that would work out. I’d probably have to reintegrate into society if I ever had a kid. I’d love to raise them in the wild, but it just doesn’t seem fair.</p>

<p>I would love to have around 4-8 children. Lol I know it sounds crazy but I love kids! Six would be my perfect number…2 girls and 4 boys.

<p>Admittedly I think it might work for many people. Just do it with a very smart (but extremely busy/ambitious) male who probably doesn’t have the time for marriage/children but who still probably has very good genes.</p>
<p>Why does everyone want boy children?</p>
<p>I, for one, would feel more comfortable raising boys since I grew up a tomboy. I honestly wouldn’t even know what to do with little girls!</p>

<p>People are naturally inclined to be more optimistic than is warranted, and boys are more likely to be VERY successful/rich in this society than girls (they are also far more likely to be VERY unsuccessful/fail out/have major behavioral disorders). But they tend to overestimate the success of their children, which leads towards a desire for more male children.</p>
<p>When people have lower expectations, they’re more willing to want girl children. This is why deer tend to have more female fawns during famines (also people are more likely to prize girls during famines), since they’re “safer” and less likely to majorly “fail out”. </p>

frankly I toy around with having children even though I probably could never manage to raise them. although I’d only want female children if i had any, since females are nicer in general (and don’t act as if they never wanted you to exist in the first place). Which is how I treat my parents, anyways. 
But I’m extremely libertarian/anti-authoritarian, and if I had children, they’d probably end up dying (or wasting their entire lives on World of Warcraft or drugs) if they were boys. IMO it’s pointless to have male children since they probably won’t care about you when you’re old and in need of relationships.</p>
