<p>I'm interested in Babson only because my father does alot of work in latin american and has a lot of friends who are VERY succesful who attended babson. I've heard its great for entrepreneurship but what about its marketing? Does anyone know what number it is on the USnews ranking list of undergrad bus programs?</p>
<p>Hey kmj, yes Babson is #1 for entrepreneurship studies. It is excellent if you want to study entrepreneurship. The school's other programs are not that highly rated though. I don't know anyone who would go to Babson if they wished to study something other then entrepreneurship. I believe overall it is ranked 26th for undergraduate business.</p>
<p>Although Babson may produce successful alumni so do many other schools in the U.S. with much better business programs. For example, Bentley which is another business school right outside of Boston produces VERY successful alumni. That list could keep on going to just about every school on the business list.</p>
<p>Personally, I would never go to Babson after reading an article in the school newspaper. If you run a search on Babson and read the post on "Babson a Good School but What is This" you will see what I mean.</p>
<p>What are your high school statistics? By knowing those I can recommend some programs for you</p>
<p>Boston U has a good marketing program in its School of Management</p>
<p>US News last year ranked the top 5 marketing programs as:
1. Univ. of Penn (Wharton)
2. Univ. of Michigan -Ann Arbor
3. Univ. of Texas - (Austin..McCombs)
4. Univ. of Calif.-Berkeley (Haas)
5. Univ. of N.C. - Chapel Hill ( Kenan-Flagler)</p>
<p>If you want to do marketing or any other field in business other then entrepreneurship I would not recommend going to Babson.</p>
<p>If you can get into the top business programs Wharton will be immensely better then most schools</p>

unfourtunatly thats NOT always an option besides college is way overrated on this forum and people manipulate statistics WAY 2 much</p>
