Babson vs University of Wisconsin-Madison

Hello -

Need help for my friend’s child

He’s undecided and conflicted over his college decision

He has offers from Babson College and University of Wisconsin-Madison (UWM)

His interest is in economics, but not totally sure of business education

Although both schools have offered financial aid, UWM’s financial aid is significantly better than Babson’s

Warmer weather is preferred from health perspective

Is the winter in Madison more severe than in Boston?

He’s really going through a hard time since Babson is a very good school for business (a lot of entrepreneurial opportunities) and UWM is a very good school in general

I would really like to know what you think about this!

Help me gather some opinions and finally decision

PS - He’s waitlisted at University of Michigan, UCLA, Boston University

They are schools of a similar level, but so incredibly different. Big state school verses business specialty school. Babson’s entrepreneurship program is as good as it gets. Can’t lose either way.
