Is it possible to finish a bachelor degree in accounting and be allowed pursue a Computer Science Masters degree, assuming I have taken many computer science classes in college and have knowledge in it?

Unless you take the equivalent of a computer science degree’s set of courses, you won’t be as attractive to top programs and will likely need to take remedial courses on a probational basis wherever you do get accepted. Possible, sure; a good idea, I don’t see how. Why BS accounting to MS CS? Why not BS CS to MS CS? Or BS Accounting to MBA?

If your school offers a degree in Accounting Information Systems that would seem to be a better option than the one you have proposed. If you are going to work in accounting or in MIS you have probably maximized the value you can obtain from your existing CS classes. A masters in CS isn’t going to be of further use.

thanks, im looking to transfer thats why I thought about this. If I transfer with accounting major, I just need 2 more major prep class and I can transfer, but if I do comp sci or any other engineering major, I need about 10-12 more classes.
