Anyone have any feedback on this program? The UF website says it’s “consistently positioned as a leader nationally.” I can’t find anything online to back that up. Would love to hear from anyone with experience in this program. Also I saw that the College of Design, Construction and Planning used to have a showcase for potential students. Does anyone know of that still happens?
@Gator88NE any info? I saw the showcase info you posted a couple years ago.
You can check out the Graduation Survey results.
https://career.ufl.edu/student-outcomes/
Select Interior Design as the major.
Keep in mind that these surveys are done, before graduation. So students will still be searching.
Don’t forget to look at the Outcomes and Experience tab. For example, for graduates with a Bachelor of Interior Design degree…
94% have worked an internship before graduation
56% have secured employment before graduation
Acceptance rate to Graduate school 50%
Average Salary: $43,624
Average Bonus: $3,000
Average Years to complete degree (self-reported): 3.89 years
I would think the showcase still happens. E-mail UF and ask (patricde@dcp.ufl.edu or r.dean@dcp.ufl.edu)
Such a helpful information!!. Thanks for taking time and sharing it.
