Im applying to medical school along with taking my mcat next year. What if I have a hold on my account and the school can not release my bacholors degree until I pay the school off? Could I still go to medical school without the bacholors degree even though I completed the requirements for the degree??
I think your ability to write needs to improve. You also need to think about what you are asking. Why do you think that a Medical School would not accept you or allow you to matriculate when you have not paid your bills at a previous University?
In early June, you were taking the ACT. Now you’re in college? Now you’re planning to take the MCAT next year? What’s wrong with this picture?
Are you planning on not paying your bills at whatever 4-year college you decide to attend? I think you have to show previous transcripts. To get them released, you have to pay your bills.
If you don’t pay college bills, you won’t get a transcript from that college as a result you can’t get acceptance to any graduate schools.
Yes I was taking the Act over to transfer to another college but I didnt get accepted. So now Im an sophomore at college.
Because the current University I go to told me that.
If you owe a university money they will not release your transcript nor will they award your degree. Your admission to any medical school will be rescinded.
You are planning ahead 2 years to not pay your bills?
It won’t be rescinded because that implies that an acceptance was given earlier. Without a transcript (which a financial hold will certainly prevent from being sent out), AMCAS won’t even verify an application.
They won’t even let you register for Junior year, let alone give you transcripts for med school, if you don’t pay bills for Sophomore.
