Bachelors Vs. Masters in Marine Bio

So the college I want to attend offers both a Masters and a Bachelors in Marine Biology.

Most colleges don't offer a bachelor version from what I've found thus far, and I've always heard true Marine Biologists require either a Masters or a doctrate.

So what is the difference here? Would it be more beneficial to major in bio and continue in to Marine Bio later on, or focus on just Marine bio?

Search this site for the CC member Warblersrule86. He/she is quite knowledgeable on that subject, providing many thorough posts with valuable information for prospective students of Marine Biology/Biololgical Oceanography, etc. And yes, a graduate degree is de riguer (spelling?) for a significant job in the field.

Yes, from what I have heard it’s a good idea to do bio first, then marine bio for graduate school.
