Back-to-School Organization/Supplies?

Hey everyone! I’m going to be a senior this coming year and back-to-school shopping is honestly so fun to me lol. My schedule next year is pretty intense so I need some advice on how to stay organized throughout the year!

My schedule is:
-AP Physics 1
-AP Calc AB
-AP Gov
-AP Eng
-AP Comp Gov
-Spanish 4

I’m also trying to decide if folders or binders will be better for these classes?? Also, AP Physics, AP Comp Gov, and Spanish 4 will all be online!

Personally, I would get separate notebooks for physics and calc to take notes in and do practice problems. For the other four, have separate folders to put in worksheet/notes/flashcards etc. that’s just what I would do though :wink:

I would recommend binders or notebooks.

@awesomepolyglot @Shanban1607 thank u!!!

You should have at least one notebook and folder for each class (maybe some could be combined if in similar subjects). I would also recommend a planner.

Oooooh a planner is good idea lol @yonceonhismouth

If you’re gonna have a lot of handouts, then binders might be better than folders. I had folders in elementary school, but from middle school all the way through college my classes were so handout-heavy that I needed a binder for each class.

For me personally I would take 2-3 binders and pair similar subjects together like English and Government or Physics and Calculus. But I hate folders, I’m a binder girl.

Yeah. I basically die without a binder for every academic class.

I agree with @yonceonhismouth - a planner is really helpful for me. I prefer notebooks for my science/math/foreign language (Spanish) classes, but it does depend on whether or not your classes are handout-heavy or notes-heavy. I personally prefer folders, but binders might be smart in some cases. For folders, though, they rip quite easily (if they’re the paper ones), so you might want to consider that unless you’re getting the plastic folders.

Color code!!!
