I was looking at backpacks, tried out the Timbuk2 Commute - Large and it was not big enough for what I had to carry around. Anyway, I was on ebags.com and saw this bag...

I was wondering if anyone here has used it and if it was any good. Obviously on the website it has great reviews, but I would like to know if anyone has experience with this bag.

Yes! I am new here and this is my first post, but that is a great backpack. I have it and love it. Really comfy on the shoulders if you’ve got a lot of books and also it’s great for commuting as it gets pretty big, lots of compartments since you’ve got to pack everything but the kitchen sink. ;)

buddy of mine has the same one. i like it it looks nice has alot of room. he always overpacked it tho and broke the strap off. i have a samsonite one i got.

Can’t speak about that one specifically but I have a different Swissgear and it has held up well. I’ve had a 15" computer and many huge textbooks in it and I know that my back will give out before the bag.

I buy a lot of things at Target, but I’m sorry, their backpacks aren’t as good of quality that’s needed for carrying a lot of books around a campus. No, $60 is not high for a good backpack that’s strong and will last. My backpack I currently have I’ve used for 2 years so far, and I got it on a sale but the original price was either $90 or $100, can’t remember. I like it. I’m taking that one this fall to college. I was going to get a new one, but I can’t find a new one that’s both strong enough and not ugly.

I’ve been using the same plain black Jansport bag since sophomore year of high school…it has held up perfectly. Just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it’s poor quality!

I agree with the person above. it can be a it or miss. i might get a new bag this year, but i have been using my current bag since high school. a bag though can be a good investment. they are def useful to have and you can always use it after your done with college.
