Backpacking and registering for classes

which introductory engineering class do you guys recommend? Also do you think its a good idea to try to get an override for a ross class as a freshman?

Collegebound, not your first semester. Wait until winter semester or your sophomore year unless you have nothing better to take (IE, if you’ve got credit for 101, all your math, physics, chemistry, maybe even econ).

It doesn’t make much difference if you take 100 or 101 first. Most sections of 100 are a little more work than 101 (assuming you have no programming experience, the gap is bigger if you do).

Yosup, that sucks. Maybe you should take a look at taking 151 or taking over the summer something that transfers as 101 and take 280 in fall.

If you’re worried about work load, take Acc 271 in the winter. That’s off the B-school cycle (those kids always take it in the fall) so you will only be competing with other LSA kids (likely less intelligent on average). Or another Ross class that is off-cycle - whatever you’re interested in.

Oh well, I guess I’ll just take 101. Hopefully it’ll be an easy A.

what should I do if I am taking summer courses?

backpack with that in mind?

Yes - assuming you are guaranteed to take and not end up dropping those summer classes

Someone told me they got an email already. Has everyone gotten this email?

No. There wouldn’t have been an email sent - everyone would have gotten it.
