Bad AP Score

How much do ap scores matter in admission? Do I have to send in my scores?

I suggest reading the 6 other threads opened this week on same topic.

For the majority of the colleges except for the top/elite universities, AP scores are not considered in admission decisions. You can self-report none, some or all of your AP scores and you only need to send the AP score report to the college you end up attending.

Depending upon how “bad” of an AP score you received, you can check each college for the score level needed for AP credit. If a 3 will get you AP credit at any particular school, then I would report that score on your application.

I’d send in 3’s or better. Give the AOs no reason to default to the idea that you got a 1 or 2 on the test.
