i got a very disappointing score from the May SAT, 1920. i gotta admit that i was really really crushed wen i saw tha score, and i still am. i knew i could do better. so i took it again in june and got a 2220. how much does tha first bad score affect me? will colleges notice it or will they just completely ignore it?

Most colleges will just look at the highest score from each section. Some colleges, like the UC system, will only take your best single sitting. So short answer, no it shouldn't hurt you.

it shouldnt be a problem..

what did you do? i am curious.. thats a nice improvement

It won't affect you at all. I had the almost the same improvement as you did from first to second SAT scores and I got into highly competitive colleges. Colleges know that you might have had a bad day or that you just didn't prepare at all. They look at the highest score you get.
