Bad first semester of highschool.....

<p>Okay, so I am going to get straight to the point. I was incredibly lazy first semester of freshman year, and I got a 3.0. I deserved it. But since then I have gotten nothing else but 4.0's. My sophomore year I was taking AP Stats and AP Calc BC, and my course load has been more rigorous than anyone at my school. So what I am wondering is if all of my
other stats will outweigh that one bad semester. </p>

<p>Here are my stats: </p>

<p>-SAT overall = 2400
-underweight GPA =3.81</p>

<p>Current classes for Junior year:</p>

<p>-Multivariable calculus at local college
-Religion class
-Advanced Accounting
-AP US History
-AP Psychology
-AP Literature
-Linear Algebra at local college
-The world since 1935
-German 3</p>

<p>EC's</p>

<p>-state track champion in 4x800m relay
-member of Mensa
-founded my own internet company that I sold for a considerable amount of money (please don't think I am trying to brag)
-almost fluent in German
-have been playing the cello for 2 years
-run cross country
-have won multiple chess tournaments
-volunteer at local library weekly
-have won multiple math track competitions
-member of this society my called AOC(agents of change) at my school
-member of student council sophomore year
Extra </p>

<p>-I go to a Lutheran high school in Midwest
-Will have solid rec's from teachers and coaches</p>

<p>Aren’t you the freshman posting for your junior friend on other threads, like Princeton’s? I think your friend shouldn’t be too worried about first semester freshman year; I suspect the adcoms will look at the sum of “your” work. Still… exeter is awesome but lutheran hs in midwest; incredible stats but stupid question that you’ve asked repeatedly</p>
