Okay, so that covers those wonderful grades my freshmen year. It was my first year doing virtual school so I had a difficult time managing my time considering I came out of public school and straight into full time virtual.

As you can tell I really figured out what to do my sophomore year and managed to get all A's and just 1 B.

Back to my main question; will my freshmen year screw up my chances of getting into a decent college? I know it is hard to tell without EC's and SAT scores but I haven't taken my SAT yet. EC's are pretty good in my opinion. I guess I could say, how bad will my freshmen year affect my chances of getting into a decent college?

Thanks so much for any info or opinions you can provide!

Your freshman year will be considered, but it wouldn’t at all prevent you from getting into a decent college. The improvement will probably look nice to colleges. Some colleges don’t even look at freshmen year grades.

I would suggest looking at Naviance data for colleges your interested in to figure out the odds with your UW GPA, but they should be fairly kind to you.

Thanks for the info. The D I received really bothered me considering that I have never received a grade that low. I guess I can be thankful that it was in an elective and not one of my core classes.

The improvement looks nice.

Just remember not to fail again.

Don’t need to remember, just don’t do it.

I’m wondering how you get a D in web design in the first place

Not designing webs properly.

I took Web Design 1 in ninth grade, course was structured horribly so I had no idea what I was doing the entire semester. If you look at my sophomore year, you see that I took Foundations of Web Design which is basically the same course except everything is restructured and explained better.

Basically what mrnephew said.
