Bad GPA (2.4)... how well do I have to do to get up to at least 3.0?

I'm finishing up my second year and have done largely poorly with a 2.4 gpa. I overextended myself and took hard classes that I just didn't spend the time in. Now I'm paying the price with a bad gpa.

Is it realistic to finish school with a 3.3 gpa? Assuming I finish this and future semesters with A-/B+ range (It's unrealistic to think I'll get all A's), is this possible?

Assuming you get around the same numbers of A- and B+ and you take about the same amount of units for your next two years then your GPA would end up as a 2.9-3.0~.

A-/B+ range in grades is roughly a 3.5 and since you are gonna spend half your overall GPA as a 3.5 you can equally weight them and average them out. So, (3.5+2.4)/2 = 2.9~
