bad grades

You are confusing the UC GPA with the senior grade requirements. For senior grade requirements there is no up to 8 classes stipulation. You simply must maintain at least a weighted 3.0 GPA in any A-G courses you take. If a course is honors (must be a course accepted by the UC's as an honors course) or AP you may use the weighted grade. You may not have OR weight a grade of D or F. So long as your grades from your official transcript in your combined academic courses (A-G) taken throughout your senior year of high school add up to a weighted 3.0 without any D's or F's you are fine. This also includes any community college courses you took during your senior year.

quick, but important question to the person who posted this, you referred to a contract in your original post, i was just wondering what exactly that contract is and where we can access a copy of it. i just want to see it in official writing... thanks

Go look for the link on your admissions page.

if i DID happen to get a D in French3, is that an automatic rescindation? :(

it's not an automatic rescindation.

it is "subject to..[being rescinded]"

they have to verify transcripts and all that first. glcuk!
