I have a 2350 SAT and decent SAT2 scores, but I got a 4.3 w GPA this term (with four APs.)
This may show that I'm lazy, but I'm also an aspiring cellist who's performed nationally/internationally at festivals and competitions. Do I even have a chance with Yale? I know a professor who's very interested in taking me/writing me a rec letter. If you could chance me that'd be great. Thanks

lol seems like a ■■■■■ post, but anyways, since grades are applicable to everyone and others are probably looking at this…it’s fine.

Btw, if it’s 4.3 W, how many B’s is that (what’s it UW)? I have no idea how it works with weighted GPA stuff.

haha i d’nt know what ■■■■■ posting is…
my friend who goes to music school is letting me use her account
that’s three B+s
not very good at all.

for two of the Bs, i was .2/.3 away from an a-
yes that is an 89.7 in ap us and an 89.8 in biology

3 B+'s (and especially because they were really close) is probably going to do nothing at all to your chances.

3 B+s are all this year though.
Freshman year i had a 3.33 gpa (fail) and soph year i had 3.7

Damn, I understand those damn .X stuff…it’s annoying, I had one last semester (although certainly it was my fault for not doing hw lol).

don’t worry about your grades too much if you have other strong stuff, in which your case, you seem like you do.

hahahaha i’m afraid colleges will think I’m lazy
and i’m not going to totally deny that, but still!
I guess i will just try very hard senior year :)
