Bad Interview...What Will Happen?

I don’t feel like my interview went very well. How will this effect me?

There's nothing you can do about it, so just relax and do the best you can with the rest of the app.
I didn't feel like mine went well either, but as far as I know they're non-evaluative (or at least not super-evaluative? maybe someone with more concrete info can help us out). And you showed interest either way.

Obviously it is affecting you by making you upset and worried ..... I doubt if it will affect your adcom decision however. Lots of people rethink and feel that an interview went badly when in fact it was a neutral event. Don't stress.

I'm sorry to hear that... but I think it will not hurt your chances. The interview will not make or break you (according to my counsellor)

I'm really glad to hear it won't break me...at the end of the interview she said, "I'll pass along my impressions and give my endorsement." Is that okay? I just felt like it was really hit-and-miss. Bryn Mawr is my very first choice too:( I love it.

Why do you think the interview went badly? Is it possible that you're wrong, and that you actually made a pretty good impression---or at least a fair one? How long did you talk? What kinds of questions did the interviewer ask? Did you make it clear that Bryn Mawr is your very first choice?

Actually, I think I may be overreacting. I did make is very clear Bryn Mawr was my first choice. We talked for a little bit over an hour and a half, and I ask her a ton of questions about her experience at Bryn Mawr and we discussed everything from classes, to summers, to the perils of waitressing. I think it may have gone better than I originally felt. :)...I hope! I love Bryn Mawr.
