bad previous grad school, but o/w great record

I'm considering applying to some of the top 10 MBA programs, but I have one concern. I previously had a great record in undergrad (just under 4.0 GPA, double major in math and econ, lots of extracirriculars) and was able to win one of the best scholarships (won't say which for anonymity) to the UK to study Economics at Cambridge. Being from a more broad US undergrad background, my performance in the MPhil was fairly below average, so I'm concerned that I may have actually harmed my ability to apply. It seems unfair, since I probably would have been fine before, and winning the scholarship itself seemed like a big accomplishment, not to mention passing a program that fails 25% of its students (and is much more mathematically rigorous than an MBA, but all accounts). Will a good MBA program be able to understand the situation, or have I set myself up for failure by trying too hard? Is there anything I can try to remedy the situation? Thanks!

As long as you have good work experience, I would think you’d be fine.
