Weak undergrad record, strong graduate record?

I attended an Ivy League undergraduate institution but graduated with a GPA of ~3.0. I have been working in the economy for a few years now and have had very strong evaluations. Recently, I have applied to go back to school for a Masters from a top 10 school in the field. I was accepted. Later on down the road I want to apply for a Masters in a different program from another school (LSE).

My question is how much compensation can I achieve with a strong record from a previous Masters over a weaker undergraduate record?

Thanks for your response.
