I took the US History & Bio SAT II's in May. I got a 780 on US History but panicked during Bio and got a 620 (which is higher than I was expecting).

I'm a straight-A student in the top 1% of my class. My reasoning SATs are 2300, I have 5's on 4 AP tests, and I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA.

I'm planning on applying to Ivy/ prestigious liberal arts colleges, but I'm afraid that score could ruin my chances. Can my ECs, reasoning scores, transcript and essay overshadow my 620? (I really don't want to retake it). I'm planning on taking Math II (and doing well) in October.

I have the same question. I did poorly on Math II (640) because it was my 3rd test. I plan on retaking and hopefully getting an 800 in November but how will universities look on this if I apply early?

You can choose if you want to add or not add them to your application, as far as I know. So you don’t have to put them in your app, then colleges won’t find out.

If you already sent in your scores, then its a bit late for that now. A 640 isn’t particularly top notch for the top notch schools. But if everything else in your application is perfect, it wouldn’t hurt that much though for top notch universities.

Some schools ask for all scores anyways, and you have to send a score report so they would most likely see the score in question still (unless you use score choice). Most schools will look at your higher score.
