Bad Score on a Subject Test?

I took the Chem Sat II last year as a sophomore and did horribly on it. Only ended up scoring a 600...I am planning on taking Math II and Physics in June. If I do well (750+) on those two subject tests, how much would my chem SAT hurt my application? I thought about retaking it in October, but the only problem is I haven't taken a chemistry class since sophomore year. Should I self-study over the summer and take it again, or does it not matter since I will have Math II and Physics tests completed. Thanks!

You should be okay. Most schools only want two. It really depends on where you apply - a few schools want to see all of your tests scores.

Some of the schools I’m planning on applying to want to see all the test scores, and that’s what I’m worried about. If a school sees that I did well on two subject tests but poorly on one, how much would it affect me?

If you do math 2 and phys, just submit those and ignore Chem. If you need 3 subject tests, re-study and break 750.

You don’t even need 750. As long as you get 7XX you are fine.
