BAD things about UCSD?

UCSB’s original buildings were designed in the 1950s by Charles Luckman with the cinder block patterning, and admittedly that style hasn’t stood the test of time and look ugly to modern eyes. However, most of the new developments (Manzanita Village, the buildings in the engineering area, the new social sciences buildings opened this year) look quite nice by contemporary standards.
