<p>I appled to around 10 schools. I sent two teacher recommendations to most, though just one to 3 or so schools. </p>
<p>Problem is one teacher apparently never sent anything, and doesnt even have the stuff I gave him. This is the teacher who's recommendations I was planning to use for the colleges that only required one, so they've got nothing. Deadline was the first, and we're halfway into January.</p>

<p>When you say deadline was the first do you mean your application deadline was then? If so, you can probably still send rec letters as those are usually accepted even if they arrive after the deadline date as long as you get them to the college within a reasonble time after the app deadline but you should still have it done very quickly.</p>
<p>Most schools won't penalize you for this and will still accept your recs. But don't put it off, get it done ASAP. You can always call the 3 schools, briefly explain what happened and tell them the recs are on their way.</p>
